Networking: Position yourself now - it´s easy.

Let’s be honest — most of us have had mixed feelings about networking.

It can feel awkward, confusing, or like something only “naturals” are good at. But here’s the truth: networking is not about being perfect — it’s about being present, curious, and human.

In our recent Career Support Group session, we focused on how to make networking more meaningful, more you, and more connected to your actual goals.

🔑 Here are the key things we explored:

• Networking is a long-term investment.
  It’s not about “What can I get right now?” It’s about building a web of relationships that grow with you.

• There are 3 levels of networking
  From casual chats to strategic outreach — you can shift between levels depending on your goals and energy. No one-size-fits-all.

• Positioning is everything.
  When you show up with clarity — about where you’re coming from, where you are now, and where you’re heading — others get you faster. That’s why we introduced the idea of your Personal Value Proposition (PVP).

• Start small, stay consistent.
  You don’t need a polished pitch. Just a sentence that feels real and opens the door.

Here’s a playful fill-in-the-gap prompt we shared to help you reflect on how you want to show up in your career conversations:
